Snow!!!
It was raining pretty good on my way home Sunday evening, which is when I discovered that my boots leak. But, when I woke up Monday morning I discovered that it had snowed overnight! It wasn’t a lot of snow, but to this beach girl it doesn’t matter. I was so excited that I took some pictures from my window and on my way to the office that morning. I usually don’t take pictures when I’m out by myself, but this time I didn’t care. The snow was pretty much gone by the time I headed home that evening and there was even less trace of the event on Tuesday.
On Wednesday though there was a very light snow fall as I walked/bused/walked to staff meeting and I didn’t mind the cold because I was getting snowed on. During staff meeting I could see it coming down a little heavier, but by the end it had stopped and there wasn’t really any evidence of the event. I’m hopeful though that this means there will be more.
Tomorrow some of my students are helping me shop for a hat.
